Order up: The San Francisco house where contestants from the first season of “Top Chef” were housed has been sold for $3.6 million.

Located in the Marina District, the 4,680-square-foot residence offers “Old San Francisco charm throughout,” according to the listing with Monica Chung, the founder and principal broker of Andersen, Jung & Co.

“This grand Marina home is located in one of the most prestigious areas of San Francisco with amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts and the beautiful Bay,” Chung said in the listing. She was not immediately available for comment.

The house had its star turn on “Top Chef” in 2006, hosting the nine contestants in its six bedrooms and four bathrooms. It was first listed in January for $4.375 million, and following two price cuts, was most recently asking $3.499 million, listing records show.

The deal closed last week. The buyer was an LLC registered in California, according to records with PropertyShark. Neither the buyers or sellers were available for comment.

Features of the home include hardwood floors, oversized arched windows and a gas fireplace with a stone mantle in the sunken living room, listing photos show. There’s also a formal dining room and an updated kitchen with all new appliances, a pass-through window opening to a breakfast room and an adjacent family room.

There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms on the upper level, including the primary bedroom with a private balcony, according to the listing. A spiral staircase allows for access to the roof deck.

There’s also a guest suite with two bedrooms, a wet bar and a dining area and family room with a gas fireplace, a two-car garage and a fenced private patio.
SFGate first reported the deal.
